Hailing from Melbourne's inner northern suburbs, BATZ formed in late 2015 to bring their audiences what's become a notoriously intense and rowdy yet authoritative live show.
Thrashy guitars, a driving rhythm section and front-woman Christina Aubry's commanding and passionate vocal performance, BATZ' music takes inspiration from and has been compared to the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Blondie and The B-52's.
Their debut EP "Night Terrors" and follow up Single "Darlin" have earned them support spots with the likes of Kingswood (2017) and seen them on festival bills both in their hometown of Melbourne and throughout Australia including Maroochydore Music and Visual Arts Festival and Sydney Road Festival.
Working Closely with Alex Markwell of The Delta Riggs, BATZ make music for those who love the after hours. The sound is raw, energetic and unapologetic.
